Description

We are looking for a professional Curry Chef who specializes in preparing and cooking dishes that are typical of the Peshawari cuisine and presentation of dishes that are representative of Peshawari cuisine, which is known for its rich and robust flavours. And experience in delivering an authentic and delicious dining experience in restaurants.

Responsibilities
  • Cuisine Mastery skills, Expertly prepare and cook a range of Peshawari dishes, including specialties like seekh kebabs, chapli kebabs, Karahi dishes, pulao, and tandoori bread.
  • Skillfully blend and use a variety of spices and herbs to create the distinctive flavors and seasoning for Peshawari dishes.
  • Ingredient Handling cut, and prepare meats, vegetables, and bread used in Peshawari dishes.
  • Experience in Using traditional cooking methods like grilling, slow cooking, and tandoor baking to bring out the rich and complex flavors of Peshawari cuisine.
  • Collaborate with the head chef to develop and enhance the restaurant’s Peshawari menu, ensuring a variety of options for customers.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in Peshawari dishes.
  • Pay attention to the visual presentation and garnishing of Peshawari dishes to make them appealing.
  • Maintain portion control to reduce food waste and control costs.
  • Prior experience as a Curry Chef in a restaurant is typically preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Peshawari culinary traditions, spices, and cooking techniques.
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
